About the Company: Join a well-established, major player in the construction industry known for its commitment to quality and excellence. We are looking for an Assistant HR Manager to be a key support to HR Manager in delivering comprehensive HR services across the organization.
Role Overview: This is a full-spectrum HR generalist role, where you will assist the HR Manager in managing daily HR operations and initiatives. Your scope will cover employee relations, event management, training coordination, compliance, HR administration, recruitment, and foreign worker management.
Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Manager in the execution of day-to-day HR functions across the full spectrum of HR activities
- Handle employee relations matters, acting as a first point of contact for staff queries and concerns
- Coordinate and manage company events and employee engagement activities
- Assist with training needs analysis and organize training programs and workshops
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and foreign worker regulations
- Manage HR administration including record keeping, employment documentation, and HRIS updates
- Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding processes
- Oversee foreign worker employment matters such as work permits, renewals, and related compliance
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably within the construction or related sectors
- Proven generalist HR skills with experience across employee relations, recruitment, training, and compliance
- Familiarity with foreign worker regulations and permit management is highly desirable
